Renee is currently the Director of Food and Beverage for Pret A Manger, a UK restaurant concept with a strong focus on fresh and affordable breakfast and lunch offerings. Previously, she held the role of Food and Beverage Director for the Master Franchise of Le Pain Quotidien, a Belgian restaurant company with a strong organic and fresh ingredient focus operating in 19 countries with 150 restaurant locations worldwide.
Renee received her culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has held various roles in the food and beverage industry including the role of Executive Chef at The Raymond Restaurant, a landmark restaurant in Pasadena, CA. She has also held various consulting positions in agricultural commodity purchasing as well as for West Central Produce, a local Los Angeles produce vendor. Renee currently serves on the Coordinating Committee of the Food Commons, a new enterprise whose vision is to become the leading system of localized food economies.
